4/15/2024 0 Comments Tvpaint 11 pro mac magnet![]() But the software keeps on interrupting me in my workflow. It is frustrating to read through the forum and see how many times other mac users have reported some of these issues. And now with Catalina, they have become a LOT worse is my case. It just seems that with every update from either macOs or Wacom they got a bit worse. Sorry I included a few things that may belong to another thread but I have to point out that most of these issues are not new. > And if you follow some of the fixes in the Forum, it gets either to big or to small. > The cintiq pro 24" is 4k 60Hz, and I think my Radeon Pro 5500M with 8 GB of VRAM should be able to handle the upscaling. But when cleaning or while in the "zone" it becomes a annoying interruption.ĥ. > It may not sound like a big deal to some of you. ![]() But the second "workaround" has no been debunked because of issue Nr.2 (not responding clicks after switching software) It can sometimes be changed back by quickly switching to the eraser tool or sometimes by switching to another software and back to TVPaint. > The TVP Cross or Dot randomly turns into the regular Curser of macOs and stays that way. It seems to be absolutely random how "heavy" the stuck is and it is quite annoying to say the least.Ĥ. This can sometimes hold up until you use your mouse to click somewhere OR click randomly in different parts of the interface. > When I do something in Trello or Safari and then switch back to TVPaint by clicking on it or with *cmd +TAB* it does not respond to clicks with my Wacom pen. No response to clicks after switching Software: So I just have to kinda "guess" the location of "copy" and click. but the software still waits for my input anyway before moving the frames. Well the Box for the dialog now only shows up sometime, but empty. > If I select a few frames and move them to another location I used to get a little dialog with "copy, move or insert". It then "catches up" eventually and lets me work again. >If I try to scrub the timeline, it reacts delayed up to multiple seconds. Especially after switching to another program the timeline gets completely stuck: Timeline seems to be extremely laggy at times. Here is some issues I have been running into with my setup:ġ. Hooked up via USB-C to a new Cintiq Pro 24" 4kīoth running the latest software: macOs Catalina (10.15.4), Wacom Driver (6.3.38-3) Setup: New 16" Macbook Pro, 2.4 GHz i9, 32 GB DDR4 RAM and AMD Radean Pro 5500M 8GB VRam Watch what happens when you hold down CTRL SHIFT and use it with the 3 Point Spline tool.Hi there, I seem to be having some similar Issues when using TVP with Mac, I definitely think it should be fixed so it does not mess up people's shortcuts that use CTRL and SHIFT in combination, but the behavior perhaps has some value (if the behavior can be activated other than by using the combination of CTRL SHIFT ). Well, as I play around with it more, it has an interesting behavior. ![]() But if I stop drawing, then click on the canvas with the cursor making a "dot", the next line will originate from that point when I press down on CTRL SHIFT again. After I deleted the first set of lines I made I noticed that the starting point seemed to be the last place I had clicked on the screen before I resume pressing CTRL SHIFT. At the start of the screen capture you can see it starts from the middle of screen because that is where my cursor was hovering before I pressed CTRL SHIFT. I made a screen capture movie to show the behavior. (it snaps to the point where you stopped drawing the previous line) Even if you stop holding down CTRL SHIFT, but then you resume holding down CTRL SHIFT the start of the next line segment will snap back to the end point of the previous line. It also seems to be " magnetic" because if you complete a line but are continuing to hold down CTRL SHIFT you can resume the line from the exact same point where it ended. I don't know if it can be disabled, and I don't even understand what it is supposed to do as the line always starts from the upper left corner !įor me the line starts from wherever I have placed my cursor, then I hold down CTRL SHIFT, the line originates from that point. ![]()
